President and General Manager, Southeast Region
Jeffrey A. Gouveia, Jr. is the President and General Manager of Suffolk Construction's Southeast region.
Jeff is responsible for providing strategic direction; aligning business, financial, service, and operations initiatives with company goals; overseeing the management of projects and client relationships; and leading marketing and work acquisition efforts in the Southeast region.
Since joining Suffolk in 1995, Jeff has led his teams in ensuring on-time delivery of high quality construction projects.

Prior to his
role as President and General Manager of the Southeast
served as Suffolk
's national Executive Vice President of Operations responsible for coordinating the compliance of corporate standard operating procedures across all regions and identifying challenges and opportunities for ongoing improvement.
was also charged with ensuring that operational trends were shared with the Learning + Development team, so specific training efforts were closely tied to the needs of the company.
worked closely with the Executive Vice President of National Business Development to coordinate Suffolk
's national client strategy, identify and build relationships, and assist in national account development.
Throughout his tenure at Suffolk, Jeff led Boston's Commercial Group and oversaw some of the most complicated and notable construction projects in the company's history.
Jeff also assumed a leadership role in Suffolk's expansion through the acquisitions of competitor William A. Berry in the Northeast and Roel Construction in the West Region.
Early in his

's new office and presence in the Southeast
, which has since developed into one of the largest and most successful construction management firms in Florida.

Jeff graduated from Fordham University.
