Jeff Morrowweather.com - On Air Personnel
...Jeff Morrow On-Camera Meteorologist
became interested in weather
while a youngster watching severe storms in western Pennsylvania.
Since then, he
really enjoys the aspect of live reporting of tropical weather, nor'easters, and severe thunderstorm events. He
can often be seen fulfilling that capacity as one of The Weather Channel's reporters in the field. A native of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Jeff graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology from The Pennsylvania State University. He
first appeared on-air at The Weather Channel
in May 1986. His
favorite weather events include covering Hurricane Floyd in 1999 from Charleston, South Carolina and covering the Blizzard of 96', live from Washington, D.C.
"Covering severe weather in the field for The Weather Channel
is some of the most rewarding work I've done in meteorology. It's one thing to talk about weather in a studio, it's quite another to go out experience it live."
When not covering blizzards and hurricanes, Jeff
can be found sailing, surfing, biking or hiking.
