Jeff Hopkins | Associate Coach
(Atlanta, GA via Sydney, Australia) has a long and rich history in the sport of cycling.
Starting racing at the age of 9 became Australian Junior Track Champion at the age of 17, World Junior Track Champion at the age of 18, Jeff deciding to try his
hand across the pond in the US.
At age 19 he
moved to Trexlertown PA to compete in the world renowned track racing series.
Trying his hand at road racing as an amateur in 2001, Jeff quickly caught the eye of several pro directors and signed with Jittery Joes in 2001 and has been with the team for 6 years.
brings 19 years of racing experience and having worked with some great coaches in the Australia Sports Commissions Olympic development program.
While Jeff's main area of knowledge is in the racing side of the sport, his
goals as a coach are to generally widen every cyclists knowledge of not only how to physically ride a bike well, but also how to apply the mind and develop skills in order to achieve your goals.
