learned that music is actually one of the earliest forms of communication and community team-building, and he

started facilitating drum circles as a teenager as a way to bring people together and celebrate creating rhythms in the moment.
It was a natural extension of his
studies of how and why people play, dance or listen to music.
Years of research from the bandstage while entertaining audiences with rhythms on drum set and almost every other percussion instrument imaginable, taught Jeff
that people love to move and groove.
He has worked intimately with many ethnic and modern dance companies, including Imani and Ashanti African Dance Troups, Layali Layla Middle Eastern Dance Co., Carolina Ballet Theatre, and many others.
For the past several years, drum4work has been hosting OUR WORLD OF MUSIC AND DANCE FESTIVAL events bringing OUR COMMUNITY together with DRUM AND DANCE.
