Jeff Castle, a meteorologist with WAFF-48 said DeKalb County would most likely get a good dusting today at best, and the NWS predicts a "possible new snow accumulation of less than 1 inch."

Both Castle and the NWS are predicting today to be cloudy, with a high near 36, and a north wind around 5 mph.
Castle also said there is a slight chance of a few flurries tonight, when the low will be around 23.
It's then expected to warm up a bit on Saturday - with a partly sunny day and high near 41 - but Castle said another snow system is expected to move into the area that could bring a mix of rain and snow on Sunday.
The NWS predicts the greatest chance of snowfall on Sunday will be before noon, followed by a probable mix of rain and snow to continue on through Sunday night and possibly into Monday.
"Some flurries will linger into Monday," Castle said.
