Jeanne-Marie Duval Pierrelouis
Jeanne-Marie Duval Pierrelouis brings to the SSFS Board nearly 30 years of experience in international education and exchange in post-secondary education. Her professional experience includes curriculum development and teaching of English as a Second Language at Temple University and the development and management of training programs for professionals in international education as Associate Executive Director of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Jeanne-Marie has also managed scholarship programs for students from Russia and Eurasia and technical assistance programs related to educational testing in the Republic of Georgia and Kyrgyzstan. She is currently Deputy Executive Director at Higher Education for Development at the American Council on Education. HED identifies and supports higher education partnerships for capacity building to address international development challenges with support from the US Agency for International Development and Department of State. HED currently works with 58 higher education institutions in the U.S. and 81 overseas in 35 countries. Jeanne-Marie holds an undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Master's degree from Temple University. Her son, Eryc, is a 2012 graduate of SSFS, attending Guilford College.
