Jean-Marie’s focus is on the user experience of IP-based services and on the benefits to all the players involved in the value chain of these services delivered on fixed, mobile and converged IP networks.
Jean-Marie’s vertical expertise is on the technologies that enable broadband access (FTTH, WIMAX, WiFi, 2.5G/3G), on broadband applications (VoIP, IP applications, IPTV) and on the customer-facing part of the OSS (Billing and Customer Care, Contact Centers).
In recent engagements, Jean-Marie
has evaluated the feasibility and the business case validity of residential triple play (Voice, Data and Video) offered on alternative broadband local loops in North America.
Prior to founding Le Channel, Jean-Marie served in various executive positions both on the consulting side (KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint) and in the Industry (Bull Information Systems, Caisse des Dépôts Développement).
worked in six different countries, in three different worlds: the United States –for over 10 years-, Western Europe and Eastern Europe.
Jean-Marie holds an MS in Engineering from Ecole Centrale, Lyon, France and attended U.C. Berkeley’s Advanced eXecutive Program in Marketing.
