Christina Fassbender was a student of Prof. Jean-Claude Gerard at the Stuttgart Musikhochschule from 1993 until 2001 (Diploma, 1999; Soloist-Diploma 2001).Mr.GerardMr.GerardMr.GerardAlcasser 28-10-1962 (Valencia).Flute player, conductor and composer.He studied flute career at "Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Valencia", being Jesus Campos his professor.He also studied in Madrid with the great player Andres Carreres and later in France with Raymond Guiot and Alain Marion; and in England with Geoffrey Gilbert and Trevor Wye.During 1982 he was ellected to be flutist at "Orquesta Sinfonica de Asturias" and in 1986 he starts playing for the "Ministerio de Educacion y Ciencia".He has been professor at "Juan de Antxieta" and "Julian Gayarre" conservatoires in Bilbao and also at "Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Salamanca".Since 1987 he is flute professor at "Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid" and also since 1999 at "Conservatorio Superior de Musica Joaquin Rordigo" in Valencia as services commission.He has performed with the "Orquesta Sinfonica de Bilbao", "Filarmonica de Gran Canaria", "Sinfonica de Valencia", "Capilla Real", "Comunidad de Madrid" and "Orquesta Nacional de Espana".He has recorded with RNE (Spanish National Radio), "Radio Euskadi" and a collection of flute Spanish music from XIX century for the label "Piccolo" recently, being the result from his researching works during last years.Likewise, he has revised and edited this music at different Publishing Companies in Madrid and Valencia.He also has published several books regarding the history of flute in Spain, besides others books about band history and general music from his nature village.He reached a master in Musical Creativity and Aesthetic and also in Advanced Studies by "Universitat de Valencia".Mr.GerardJean-Claude Gerard Mr.GerardJean-Claude Gerard studied flute at the Conservatoire National SupeLrieur de Musique in Paris and with Marcel Moyse.Apart from his pedagogic commitments, Jean-Claude Gerard is a member of the Deutsche Blasersolisten, the Ensemble Villa Musica and the Bach-Collegium Stuttgart.Mr.GerardMr.GerardMr.GerardBarbara GISLER-HAASE was born in Vienna.Following a general musical education during childhood she studied transverse flute at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.She graduated with highest honors.During her studies Barbara Gisler haase won several first prizes as soloist at Austria famous youth competitions for instance yugend musiziert and as a member of the Eurasia Quartet in chamber music competitions.In 1974 she was awarded a prize at the international Competition for Traverse Flute in Prague.In the same year she began to teach at the Vienna Academy of Music.Mr.GerardMr.Gerardreceived his musical education in Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Cologne and Paris.
