EMS TECHNOLOGIES' SENIOR VP JAY GROVE
JOINS AeA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ATLANTA (October 8, 2002) - The AeA (American Electronics Association), the nation's largest trade association for the technology industry with over 3,000 member companies, and EMS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ELMG) announced today that Jay Grove, senior vice president and general manager for EMS's Space & Technology Group/Atlanta, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the SE Council of the AeA.
Grove was hired by EMS in January 2001 to provide strategic direction and operational management for approximately 340 employees achieving annual revenues of $50+ million.
The Group focuses on antenna, microwave, and millimeter wave technologies for space and defense applications.
Prior to joining EMS, Grove was director of Mobile SATCOM Systems at ViaSat of Carlsbad, Calif.
