MOOREFIELD , Pilgrim's Pride Corporation has named Jason Dalrymple as nutrient management technician for the Moorefield fresh foodservice complex.
In this role, Dalrymple
is responsible for writing and updating nutrient management plans for Pilgrim's Pride growers and assuring that these plans are followed in order to insure best management practices on the farm.

...Before accepting this position, Dalrymple was a manager trainee working on nutrient management for Pilgrim's Pride in Moorefield, and he previously worked in Pilgrim's Moorefield quality assurance department.He has also worked for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service as a soil conservationist, managing cost-share programs, nutrient management planning and conservation engineering.Dalrymple earned a bachelor of science degree in agriculture, with a major in environmental protection and a specialization in soil and water conservation, from West Virginia University.He has been a past member and a proud contributor to the Future Farmers of America, and was a past West Virginia State FFA vice president.
As a member, he
competed in national contests including the National Poultry Judging Career Development event in Kansas City, Missouri, and two National Envirothons in Johnstown, Pa., and Arcata, Calif.Dalrymple
currently resides in Augusta, W.Va.He
wife, JoAnn, have a 3-month-old daughter named Daisy.
