About 8:30 p.m. Monday, two men in hooded sweatshirts and masks robbed Fruitridge Liquors on the city's north side, said Detective Jason Czupryn of the Terre Haute Police Department.One man showed a rifle and the other a bat before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money and liquor, police said.Police are investigating if the two also robbed Mr. M's Liquor a little more than an hour later.Two males in hooded sweatshirts entered the south-side store, showed a knife and took an undisclosed amount of money and liquor, Czupryn said.
