Jane Markley has served as Montgomery County's Clerk of Courts since 1992.A long-time Republican leader, Markley has served as a Montgomery County Committeewoman, as vice-chairman of the county GOP, and as a member of the Pennsylvania State Committee.
Markley is also a dedicated community volunteer, has served on Schwenksville Borough Council, on the board of the Valley Forge Convention & Visitors Bureau, is a past president of the Women's Civic Club of Schwenksville, and has been active in many other civic organizations.
Markley is a graduate of West Chester State with a B. S. in Elementary Education (1952), and is a life-long resident of Schwenksville.
