Jana Davis - Assistant Band Director/Percussion Coordinator
is in her
fourth year as assistant band director/percussion coordinator with the Mighty Maroon Band
Mrs. Davis directs the percussion program for Mesquite High School, Agnew Middle School and Wilkinson Middle School.
responsibilities include teaching and writing for the Mesquite High School
Drumline (MDL), directing the MHS percussion ensemble, teaching masterclasses and sectionals for all percussion students grades 6-12, and preparing all percussion students for successful auditions, band contests, and solo & ensemble contests.
also assists with band rehearsals for all 3 high school bands and middle school advanced bands at both Wilkinson and Agnew.

Band members Jana Davis (vocals), Steve Hill (guitar), Mike Zapp (keyboards), Jack Shannon (drums) and Shawn Day (bass) all hail from different musical backgrounds, yet ended up in Sheridan, Wyoming where Simply Jane is based.
