"The new copyright law should be more transparent and accessible for both those who directly have to apply the law and the general public," said Jan Rosen, a Stockholm University law professor who is in charge of the report on the new law.
The proposal includes amended or new provisions of the copyright commission's proposals in the interim report Agreed Copyright in 2010. "The initial provisions of the new copyright law is proposed to provide easily accessible information about the main features of the legislation to those who use the law directly to get an overall view of the legal content. The language of the Act is renewed and all the provisions are expressed with a uniform terminology," Rosen said.
