Vista Drive resident Jim ... [cached]

Vista Drive resident Jim Zindroski said he agreed with his wife - the school board member - that the district was asking for too much money.

Zindroski said that when he was North Royalton police chief, the city on at least one occasion tried to pass a police levy at the same time the schools had a levy on the ballot.
At that time, Zindroski and others did research and found a school district in Ohio that was "dirt poor" yet successful in educating students. He said that parent involvement is key.
