Jim Perry, PhD, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)
Oncology Specialist & Surgery Resident
Dr. Perry, originally from Portland, Oregon, received his Bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cellular biology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He then went on to complete his veterinary medical degree and doctor of philosophy in cellular immunology at Colorado State University.
After working in private practice for a year, he returned to the clinics at CSU for his residency in medical oncology, which he completed in 2010 before starting at Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists.
clinical and research interests include comparative cancer biology, immunology, targeted chemotherapeutics, and surgical oncology.

Dr. Perry is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Oncology Society, Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Association of Immunologists.
