A musical comedy revue celebrating the 5oth birthday of the St. Edward Pastor - Rev. James Noto.

The parish mourned the loss of their former pastor, Rev. Jim Noto.
The parish celebrated with Fr. Noto as they paid off the mortgage on our building. Fr. Noto retired as his health began to decline. The Rev. Msgr. Fr. James M. Noto became the next pastor of St. Nicholas. During his tenure over the next ten years, Father and parishioners enjoyed producing a series of dinner theater musical productions which served as fundraisers for the parishes growing ministries.

Again the parish rallied and with assistance of a generous loan from the Knights of Columbus they were able to celebrate the retirement of then pastor Fr. James Noto by burning the mortgage.
They had taken a debt of over $680,000 to zero in five years. It was this kind of "can-do" spirit that Monsignor Raymond Barton inherited when he became pastor of St. Nicholas in June 1999. A member of the Diocesan Task Force on Jubilee Year 2000 and Bishop Sullivan's Vicar for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs, Msgr.

The tradition of the Almost Christmas/Almost Midnight Mass began in 1988, when William C. ,Burr, Datz, then Campus Minister based at St. Patrick, and then pastor Father James M. Noto wanted to offer the students a special night of more than just the traditional Lessons and Carols.
