Founded in July 2010 Aoibheann's Pink Tie was started by Jimmy Norman and his family from Dunboyne after they lost their little girl Aoibheann (aged 8) to a rare form of cancer four years ago.
Jimmy met with a lot of parents going through the trauma of having a child with cancer, and more specifically identified with the financial burden that inevitably follows diagnosis.
