According to Venice Museum and Archives Curator and Manager, James Hagler, the Venice Museum and Archives is in the midst of a multi-million-dollar fund drive after receiving a $1 million seed gift in 2011.
Their goal is to raise $3-$5 million to be used for a 10,000 square feet expansion of the Tea Room. The KMI Story will be one of four prominent displays (Railroad Union, Ringling Brothers Circus, and Early Venice Pioneers are the other three.) emphasized by the museum. Hagler was asked if KMI alumni could donate their KMI memorabilia to the Venice Museum and Archives now and in the future. His answer was an enthusiastic; "Yes, glad to have it"!
