...Mr. Danahy, 52, has spent his entire career at SYSCO.Following his graduation from Northeastern University in Boston in 1976 with a bachelor of science degree, he joined SYSCO's subsidiary located in Norton, Massachusetts.After advancing through various positions, he was promoted to director of merchandising in 1988 and vice president of merchandising in 1990.When SYSCO opened its Connecticut subsidiary in 1994, he was named president and chief operating officer of that company and in 1997 expanded his responsibilities as chief executive officer of that company.He
