Born, schooled and trained in the UK, James
cabinet making business in 1988 and came to Massachusetts, bringing with him his
wife and two young sons. 'It was a leap of faith that paid off BIG!'
Initially spending twelve years in association with a spiritual community James
cultivated a unique ability to communicate, listen and understand other people.
Coupling that learning process with his
3 years at Manchester Design School
, where he
achieved a BA Hon. Degree in Design, and the experience in both workshop craftsmanship as well as jobsite installations, he
has consistently shown excellence in his
In 2001 he moved to California, leaving the position of Designer in a Boston Kitchen and Bath showroom.
Pursuing similar employment, he
was quickly hired here in Santa Rosa by a well-known and prestigious showroom.
This is where Leff Construction
first started working with James
, who designed and managed most of the cabinet needs for our clients.
success after eight years of great service led him to start his
own design business, which has been growing for the past several years.
To further our close relationship and make the design process even smoother, he has now joined the Leff Team.
James lives in Santa Rosa, has a wife 'famous' for her
great cooking, five children and five grandchildren!
As if this isn't enough, he
loves to sail his
small Ericson boat out on Tomales Bay.
Keeping fit for James
is by way of frequent mountain bike adventures both in this area and further afield, along with hiking and camping throughout California.
