Mr. Blackburn has worked with Thompson Company for more than twenty-five years. His original duties included drafting and mechanical design. Today, he is the Vice President of Engineering Support, and his responsibilities include the following: (1) Management and implementation of all CADD- related activities, including translation/updating of architectural backgrounds, coordination with client level/layer schemes, plot system implementation and maintenance, and drawing set-up and reference files, such as interior design, structural, and other consultants, (2) Management and implementation of all software programs, including work processing, technical software, and spreadsheet programs, and (3) training of new personnel for utilization of all information systems. Mr. Blackburn has been responsible for the successful CADD coordination on all projects for Thompson Company over the last ten years.
