Firstmac chief financial officer James Austin said the transaction attracted strong interest from offshore investors, primarily from the USA, Asia and Europe, who accounted for about one quarter of the deal.
Mr Austin said 11 real money accounts invested approximately 78 per cent of the transaction. Fund managers were traditionally Firstmac's investor base.
"Pricing was much tighter this time than in Firstmac's previous RMBS launch in August," he said.

James Austin has many years of treasury and capital markets experience, including expertise in financial markets accounting, market risk management, derivative valuations, and debt / equity markets settlement.
During his career he has worked at KPMG Brisbane, CSFB London, Abbey National London, HSBC Sydney and HSBC Tokyo.
In his role previous to FirstMac he spent the six years working with HSBC in Japan, culminating in his appointment as the chief operating officer of HSBC Japan and was a member of the HSBC Group's ALM committee in Japan.
He joined FirstMac in April 2005 and is responsible for all finance, treasury and securitisation functions, plus loan servicing.
James holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, having qualified with KPMG in 1992.
