The Church of St. Andrew & St. Paul - Staff
A graduate of the Universities of Toronto and Edinburgh; Memorial University of Newfoundland; and Union Theological Seminary, New York, James Armour was minister of The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul 1983-1998.Dr. Armour was named minister emeritus in 1999.He served previously in churches in Alberta and Newfoundland, as well as assistantships in Edinburgh and New York City.
The minister emeritus is the honorary chaplain of The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada and honorary life chaplain of the Royal Montreal Curling Club
.He is currently chaplain to the Irish Protestant Benevolent Society of Montreal and serves on the board of the Mount Royal Cemetery.
In celebration of our bicentenary, the church published Dr. Armour's
"Saints, Sinners and Scots - a history of The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul
, 1803-2003" in February 2003.He
is married and has four grown children and three grandchildren.

Armour acted as Minister of the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul from 1983 to 1998 and was named Minister Emeritus in 1999.

The Reverend is currently the Honorary Chaplain of the Black Watch (RHR) of Canada and Honorary Life Chaplain of the Royal Montreal Curling Club
.He is also Chaplain of the Irish Protestant Benevolent Society of Montreal and serves on the Boards of the Mount Royal Cemetery and the Montreal Association for the Blind.
In preparation for the current celebration of the Church of St. Andrew
and St. Paul's 200th anniversary Rev. Armour
has written a book on the history of the Church, "Saints, Sinners and Scots".
