Jacqui Lipson, Vice President for Communications and External Affairs
Before joining BHSN, Ms. Lipson worked at the NYC Department of Education's (DOE) Office for Family Engagement and Advocacy as the Community Education Council Administrative Coordinator.
In her role at the DOE, Ms. Lipson managed the first ever online parent leadership election for the City of New York.
career teaching 7th grade in New Orleans with Teach for America.
In 2001, Ms. Lipson
moved to Philadelphia where she
designed and managed a literacy and technology program for teenagers in Northern section of the City before deciding to return to school to pursue her
Masters in Nonprofit Management from the New York University, Wagner School of Public Service.
After completing her Masters, Ms. Lipson worked for the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy as the Director of Public Affairs.
Ms. Lipson has a Bachelor of Art in Environmental Justice from the University of Vermont.
