J. Michael Miller is the head archivist for the Marine Corps University at Quantico Virginia. A highly respected student of the war, Miller is a frequent contributor to programs with the National Park Service in the Fredericksburg area and he conducts staff rides for the Commandant of the Marine Corps and other professional training courses for the Marines. A protégé of Virginia Tech professor, Bud Robertson, Mike is the author of Even to Hell Itself, The North Anna Campaign.

Mr. Miller is Senior Archivist at the Marine Corps Research Center and a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Marine Corp University, Quantico, Virginia.
He is the author of Even to Hell Itself : The North Anna River Campaign, May 21-26, 1864 and From Shanghai to Corrigidor ; Marines in the Defense of the Phillipines, as well as numerous articles on Marine Corp history and Civil War history in periodicals such as Blue and Gray Magazine, American History Illustrated, Leatherneck, Gettysburg Magazine and Civil War Times Illustrated.

Course Fee
The total fee for this non-credit course is $ 310 and includes 21-hours of contact , a Penn State Certification verifying the awarding of 2.1 CEU's as well as park admission , to lunches , two dinners , a reading list , bus transportation , guide's fee , and on board refreshments.Although lodging is not included a block of rooms has been set aside for this activity at the Holiday Inn Select on Route 3 in Fredericksburg.
