For example, Hertzberg will visit The Kosher Nosh in Glen Rock at least three times per week, said co-owner Avi Friede, and always at a time of Hertzberg's choosing.
The Kosher Nosh is also open on Saturdays, which, Friede said, is the only real difference between RCBC's certification and Hertzberg's
Because the restaurant uses meats from only Hebrew National, when Hertzberg
comes by, he
checks the kitchen and pantry to make certain that no other brands have been used.
