Isaak Manashirov obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science from Molloy College in 2009.
In 2012, Mr. Manashirov obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2013 and is also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts sitting in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Mr. Manashirov is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the National Association for Subrogation Professionals.
Before joining Baxter, Smith & Shapiro, P.C., Mr. Manashirov was a litigation associate at the law firm of Speyer & Perlberg, L.L.P. As such, his practice was bifurcated into subrogation litigation and first party property insurance coverage litigation (bad faith/breach of contract).
As part of his
subrogation practice, Mr. Manashirov
defended and prosecuted subrogation claims stemming from fires, water leaks and explosions.
As subrogation counsel, Mr. Manashirov collaborated with the insurance company claims team at the outset of a claim to secure evidence, avoid spoliation issues, retain experts, immunize privileged material from discovery and follow through/defend on theory(ies) of recovery.
As part of his
insurance coverage practice, Mr. Manashirov
concentrated on policy interpretation and the defense of fraudulent insurance claims.
gained specialized knowledge of issues relating to first party property insurance law and litigation including defending alleged deceptive acts and practices pursuant to New York General Business Law § 349.
