"We want to ensure that investments in development do not cause further release of gases that pollute the environment," said Isaac Kabongo, the executive director of the Ecological Christian Organisation (ECO).
Kabongo pointed out that investment for many people means economic growth regardless of its negative impacts on the environment. This, according to Kabongo should not be the case and that the World should embrace the Green Economy, which addresses economic prosperity, environmental sustainable and social inclusiveness.
