Irene Frechette
Irene Frechette, former manager of Fleet Maintenance for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority for 18 years, was honored with the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her longtime service to those in need. Frechette was credited with having dedicated countless hours of work assisting those in need, most notably through her 35-year involvement in the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. She also was credited for her service to the community as vice president on the board of directors of the Attleboro Area Council of Churches, treasurer of the Attleboro Area Self Sufficiency Coalition, a charter member of the North Attleboro Networking Association, the Funds Administrator for North Attleboro's Neighbors Helping Neighbors and The Attleboro Energy Fund.
