For his part, Feza Schools director Ibrahim Bicakci said several countries had showed interest in the competition because it was designed to equip participants with information technology (IT) skills that would be useful in their lives.
He said that would make students and other IT professionals sharpen their skills and improve innovation.
"We all believe that the future of humankind is shaped by innovation, improved and proper use of information technology...Informatrix's underlying philosophy is to create a better world for the human race," underlined Bicakci.
Explaining on what they would be doing in a few days of the competition, he said participants would exhibit their IT innovations in various categories including short films, programming, hardware control, computer art and robotics whereby at the end of the event and wining participants from each category would be able to participate in the Informatrix World finals in Romania, this year.
Bicakci expects that the competition will be of the highest international standard since it includes the best IT professionals on the continent.
