Jenny Huston
Jenny is the Founder and Executive Chef of Farm to Table Food Services, an Oakland based organization that works with government, nonprofit, and social enterprise organizations to develop meal programs and services that that utilize local and sustainable food products. Through her work, Jenny addresses issues of food equity, nutrition, and social justice. She has taught culinary arts at Bay Area community colleges, currently serves as a member of the Oakland Food Policy Council, is a Distinguished Fellow at Community Food and Justice Coalition, and has been working with the HOPE Collaborative since 2008. Jenny holds degrees in Dietetics, Food Sciences, and Management from San Jose State University and a Masters degree in Food Economics, Policy and Food Systems from New York University.

About Jenny Huston
San Francisco native Chef Jenny Huston has 30 years of wide-ranging experience in the restaurant and food services industry. A formally trained chef and professional cook, Jenny has worked with Patrice Boely, Thomas Keller, Alice Waters, Joyce Goldstein, Jeremiah Towers, and Patty Unterman in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. Jenny owned and operated J. Huston Catering and consulting for 17 years, while earning academic degrees from San Jose State University in Dietetics, Food Sciences, and Management, and her Masters from New York University in Food Economics, Policy, and Food Systems. In addition to consulting, she has taught culinary arts at local community colleges, and works on food equity, nutrition, and social justice issues. Jenny has also worked with Project Open Hand in San Francisco, The Doe Fund in New York City, and Bay Area Community Services in Oakland, where she established the organization's farm to table program. Jenny is the founder of Farm to Table Food Services in Oakland and currently a member of the Oakland Food Policy Council.
