...Howard Snow, US Marine Corp, Retired, is a principal in the Washington, DC office of WHD Government Affairs.He comes to WHD Government Affairs with more than 29 years of military, business and Federal Government experience.He
brings to the team a solid understanding of the Federal budget cycle and it's impact on building business strategies. Most recently Mr. Snow was the Special Assistant for Installations, Environment and Intergovernmental Affairs (IE&IA) in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs.As a political appointee, he was assigned and served as the principal point of contact between the DOD and Congress on all matters pertaining to IE&IA.

While in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Mr. Snow
also set up the Business Relations Board.This Board acts as the key point of contact between the DOD
and Congress on matters concerning employer relations. In the past, Mr. Snow served as Military Legislative Assistance to Congressman Jim Saxton (NJ) and oversaw all veteran affairs and military issues including military construction projects.
While an Officer in the Marine Corps, Mr. Snow
worked within the Marine Corps Office of Legislative Affairs in the Pentagon.Additionally, Mr. Snow served as a Weapons Company Commander, Combat Replacement Company Commander during Operation Desert Storm, Officer in Charge of Sub Unit 1, Supporting Arms Coordinator for the Range/Missouri Battle Group, an Aerial Observer in VMO-2, and as an Operation Officers for a Marine Air Group. Mr. Snow
is currently enrolled in a doctoral program and will conclude his
studies this year.He holds a Master of Science in Education and a BA in Business.
