HOMAYOUN KAZEMI, MD Dr. Kazemi is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief Emeritus of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he headed the unit for over three decades.He
has been actively involved with undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate medical educational teaching at Harvard Medical School
has published over 200 original papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has edited or written five books related to pulmonary medicine.He
has served on the editorial board of several journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine
.He has been a consultant to the NIH and the Federal Aviation Administration.His
research interests have been in control of ventilation and acid/base balance, occupational medicine, particularly beryllium disease, and pulmonary circulation.
