HOLLY STULTS (Children's Choir Director ) has choreographed two of Civic's previous productions of JOE and was pleased to be able to work with the 54 members of the Children's Choirs for this production.
Holly's "day job" at Civic is the Associate Director of Education but her involvement at Civic began in 1992.
In her previous life, she was the first dance performance major at Ball State University and graduated with a degree in Dance and Theatre Performance.
While there, she
was honored with a freshman scholarship, Cardinal Pride Award for outstanding junior in the College of Fine Arts
, Faculty Award for outstanding senior in the Department of Theatre and Dance, crowned "Miss Ball State" and spent 3 months teaching and performing in China.
Teaching and choreography experience include: Ball State, Taylor, and Anderson Universities; University of Indianapolis; Lafayette's Bach Chorale; Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre
, and various dance studios, high schools, churches and show choir clinics.
Her on-stage experience has landed her on the Beef and Boards stage in 17 productions, The Lily Theatre at The Indianapolis Children's Museum, The Phoenix Theatre, The Artists' Studio, and in title role of "Charity" in Civic's production of Sweet Charity for which she won "Best Actress in a Musical".
has appeared in numerous commercials, print ads, and industrials.
When not at the theatre, Holly
plays the role of "mother" to her 3 leading men: Brady, Grant and Tanner.
