The Earthquake Preparedness Program in Bangladesh was based on the city corporations of Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet and includes three projects namely, seismic hazard and vulnerability mapping, training, advocacy and awareness with regards to Earthquake and tsunami hazard and contingency planning. With a strong interest in socio-economic development and the impact of disasters on development, Arghya is involved in managing the ADPC facilitated Regional Consultative Committee (RCC) Program on Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction into Development Policy, Planning and Implementation, which essentially builds evidence and facilitates the strengthening of partnerships between various agencies for safer development. Vuthy is presently responsible for implementing the GTZ-MRC-ADPC, project named "Flood Emergency Management Strengthening (FEMS)", a Component 4 of FMMP in the MRC's member states Cambodia, Vietnam, Lao PDR and Thailand. His areas of interest include CBDRM, institutional capacity building and R&R. Her present assignments includes, the Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction into Development Policy, Planning and Implementation (MDRD) program, coordination of the Regional Consultative Committee (RCC), RCC MDRD Advisory panel and the RCC MDRD technical experts meetings and in the implementation of specific regional components of the RCC MDRD Program. Sajedul earned his Master's in Social Science (MSS) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1981. Dr. Marilyn dela Vega Go joined ADPC in June 2010 as the leader of Public Health in Emergency (PHE) team. Dr. Go attended various technical and managerial training courses related to emergency management in various countries like Hawaii (HELP), Geneva and Australia (MDM), Indonesia, Kenya, Cambodia, among others. Dr. Senaka holds B.Sc. (special) degree in Physics, postgraduate diploma in Meteorology and PhD degree in Meteorology. Ms.Hla Hla Penprapa holds a Master's in Business Administration in human resources management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Nirmala has obtained her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

Boon-Tiong has 22 years of international development experience - 21 years with the World Bank and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in Washington DC; and 1 year on an UNEP/GEF project in Bangkok - specializing in financial and budget management, project financing & evaluation and corporate resource management.
Previous to this, Boon-Tiong had a total of 10 years of management auditing with Exxon Inc. (Europe) and public auditing with Coopers & Lybrand (United Kingdom). Boon-Tiong is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has a Master in Business Administration from the Cranfield Institute of Technology. HLA HLA Program Manager (Comptroller) Hla Hla joined ADPC in May 1996 as accountant. She became the Program Manager (Comptroller) of ADPC's financial matters since 1999. Prior to joining ADPC, she worked in Myanmar's private sector in the field of international trading. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Asian Institute of Technology, and a Diploma in Accounting from the London Chamber of Commerce Industry. PRISANA DURONGKADACH Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator Prisana started her career as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator at ADPC in March 2006. Her responsibilities are to support ADPC's M&E function and to implement M&E activities covering ADPC programs and activities. Previously, she was a Job Analysis Officer at PTT Exploration & Production Plc. She completed her M.A. degree in International Political Economy at the University of Warwick. BUDSARIN CHUENSOMBAT Accountant Budsarin assists in the accounting work in the Finance and Administration unit of ADPC. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting from Krirk University in Bangkok, Thailand. Previously she worked as a Teller at the Thai Farmers Bank before joining ADPC in 1999. PRISSANA NOITONGLEK Financial Analyst Prissana joined ADPC in February 2006 as a Financial Analyst. She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Chiang Mai University. Before joining ADPC, she was an Accountant at CUEL Ltd., Bangkok. Zay Yar Min joined ADPC in September 2003. Wichai joined ADPC in April 2005 as Accounting Assistant assigned to work in Finance of ADPC. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kasembundit University in Bangkok. Before joining ADPC, He worked as secretary and assistant in Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) at the office of the President. He also spent two years to study English Proficiency Course at Berkeley English Academy, United States of America. CHUTIMA SAENGNAPABOVORN Accounting Assistant/Cashier Chutima started to work with ADPC as a Student Assistant to complete her academic requirement in school. She provides general secretarial support to Finance and Administration unit. She joined ADPC as a full-time employee in January 2000, where she handles the cashiering work and provides administrative support in finance division. She finished a Bachelor Arts degree in English from Rajabhat Institute, Thailand and a certificate of Accounting.
