Hilary A. Noskin is a Hispanic New Mexican experienced in intellectual property law, environmental science and regulations, government affairs and business practices in New Mexico. Dr. Noskin is a Registered Patent Attorney and a member of the New Mexico Bar, New York Bar and of the District of Columbia bar.
Dr. Noskin has a B.A. Degree in Biology from the University of San Diego, a M.S. degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in environmental sciences from the New Mexico Highlands University , and a Ph.D. in Environmental Biology from the University of New Mexico. Her dissertation work focused on the use of bacteria for bioremediation of toxic waste sites. She received her J.D. degree from the University of New Mexico Law School. Dr. Noskin and her family continue to be active in the arts, community and in business. Her professional and academic credentials in business and science are well established.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Dr. Noskin worked as an environmental scientist for the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Dr. Noskin was also the corporate Director of Government Affairs for Giant Industries, Inc., where she added to her business experience and honed her government relations skills. Dr. Noskin also served on the New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board under Governor Gary Johnson.
Dr. Noskin brings both technical skills and community involvement, as she has been active in community boards and programs including Albuquerque Hispano Chamber, Trustee of the Albuquerque Community Foundation, New Mexico Chapter of International Women's Forum and is the Honorary Commander for Kirtland Air Force Base-Directed Energy Unit.
Dr. Noskin is part of a consortium of professionals who writes regularly for the Albuquerque Journal's "Ask the Expert" column where she answers legal questions sent in by readers. She also was named one of the 2010 Women of Influence honorees by the New Mexico Business Weekly.
