But, RAM makes it possible to save settings and positions in a single program - not just in the longitudinal direction, but also in the transverse and rotating directions," explains Henrik Nyblom, Program Developer at Forsstrom.
"It is also possible to save up to 40 consecutive welding cycles with welding values and positions in a so-called welding sequence.
The program can store up to 50 welding sequences.
If necessary, it is also possible to program parking positions, where the operator must manually start the next welding cycle.
Then, the only thing the operator has to do is position the material at the right spot on the welding table and start the required welding sequence.
The machine handles the rest itself!"
"A practical example of where RAM will be a great benefit is during tent manufacture," continues Henrik Nyblom
"Machines with EMP could learn welding parameters both ways previously, but it was located at different places on the machine," explains Henrik Nyblom, Software Developer at Forsstrom.
This leads to a reduction in the need for replacement of parts and accordingly reduced stop-periods and more efficient production for our customers", explains Henrik Nyblom, software developer at Forsstrom.
