...Helen became involved in the world of RFID and EPC when she joined the Auto-ID Centre as Associate Director for Europe in September 2001.Her
role was to help drive the adoption of the EPC network within Europe.Based at the Lab at the University of Cambridge she
helped build awareness of the center's work and was responsible for recruiting European Sponsors.In 2002 she became a Director of the Centre and took on the role of Worldwide Communications.
has conducted research with consumers and interest groups around the world and helped build the Centre policies on Privacy She
also developed all the center's communication tools, including a user's guide to the technology and was responsible for the event that launched the EPC network: the EPC Symposium, held in Chicago on September 15th 2003.
Helen's background is in Marketing with a first class BSc honors degree from Lancaster University
in Marketing and Psychology.Helen spent ten years working within the marketing department at Unilever, for Matteson Walls and Van Den Bergh Foods in the UK and for Lipton in North America.Her final role with Unilever was as a Digital Innovation Manager, responsible for driving the adoption of new digital technologies within Unilever.Prior to joining the Auto-ID Centre Helen ran her own consultancy called Prophetics.
