Mr. Achilles worked for more than seven years as a Director with the US headquartered developer Tishman Speyer Properties in Germany and Brazil, responsible for some very prominent large-scale commercial development projects, including Lehrter Bahnhof, Berlin and Torre Norte, CENU in São Paulo.
Over the recent years Mr. Achilles held several senior executive positions in the Middle East.
He was the CEO of the Bahrain based development company initiating the city development Al Madina Al Zarqa in Oman, the GCC Regional Director for Dubai Holdings international real estate development firm and the COO for Omniyat Properties in Dubai.
Most recently Mr. Achilles was the Managing Director with Hines in Abu Dhabi, heading the company's development management efforts in the MENA region.
Mr. Achilles started his career in real estate as architect and urban planner, before taking broader roles in investment and development management.
He holds a master degree in architecture from the Academy of Applied Arts Vienna, Austria, and a master degree in urban planning and real estate development from Harvard University, USA.
