Interviewing staff: Dr. Heather Spiro, Associate Director of Programmes, Manchester Business School.
I had travelled a long way for this interview, all the way from Shimla.
The interview was on an formal tone, but Dr. Spiro
is a wonderful person to talk to and put me at ease soon after beginning.
seemed to have done a SWOT (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) analysis of my resume.
I was asked to name and explain my SWOTs and what implications would they have and how I was preparing to overcome/tackle/accept them.
was writing/and making tick-marks on a form all through the interview, a form she
had prepared, I understand well in advance for the interview.
After the one hour interview was over, I had the opportunity to ask about Financial issues and about the Career Management Service.
explained both the issues very well.
Its mentioned in the writeup that "After waiting for a month, I came to know that I was in." This was probably because Dr. Spiro
mentioned that the interview results would have to be discussed with the entire admissions team, which would next meet after one month.
I also have an interview with Dr Heather Spiro
Can you tell me what other Questions did she
is a very pleasant person to talk to but the interview does have a formal tone.
All the best.
