Mrs. Chubbuck was an avid collector of plates, mustache cups, dishes, and a collection of pigs that totaled over 3,000.
She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, and always made the best apple pies and yeast rolls. Mrs. Chubbuck worked as a cook at the New Meadows restaurant of over ten years, the Bounty as a breakfast cook for more than 20 years, and a short stint at Larry's Market until she was fired because she wouldn't sell beer. She was a member of the Woolwich Grange for over 55 years where she served many terms as Grand Master and Chaplain and was also a member of the National Grange.
