After taking pictures with Hubbard and his players, Buccaneer Head Coach Jon Gruden had some words of advice and encouragement for the group.Hubbard was presented with a framed “Coach of the Week†award signed by NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, General Manager Bruce Allen and Head Coach Jon Gruden, a football autographed by Gruden.

WFLA Murdock's former high school football coach at Middleton, Harry Hubbard, said he spoke to him at the end of last year's high school football season. "He sounded really positive and he seemed like he was ready for the NFL," Hubbard said. Hubbard said he cried when he heard the news. "I just went limp," Hubbard said.
