Hans Aarsman (1951) started working as a photographer in 1980.
In the mid- 90s, he sold his camera and began to write, including a novel, several plays and a weekly column in the national newspaper De Volkskrant entitled "The Aarsman Collection". In 2012 his book The Photo Detective was published and he went on a national theater tour with his show The Aarsman Projection. At Podium, Aarsman published his books I See, I See and What You Don't See, which collect his finest contributions from "The Aarsman Collection".
