Hannah Renfro is the chief legal counsel for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), Wisconsin's lead economic development organization.
Hannah started with the Department of Commerce in 2010.
Prior to that, she was an associate with Godfrey & Kahn where she coordinated litigation and negotiation strategy on political law, antitrust and commercial litigation matters.
She was an associate at Foley & Lardner in Madison from 2003-2007 where she focused on intellectual property and commercial litigation.
Prior to obtaining her
law degree, she
was a judicial intern for Chief Judge Barbara Crabb of the Western District of Wisconsin and law clerk for the Wisconsin Department of Justice
, Criminal Appeals Unit and Legal Action of Wisconsin.
Hannah is co-founder and president of the Children's Justice Project Advisory Board.
received the Law and Politics Wisconsin Rising Star award in 2009 and 2010 as well as the Dane County Bar Association Individual Attorney Pro Bono Award.
Hannah has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Kentucky and law degree from UW-Madison.
