Longtime Princeton resident Hanna Fox
had always looked forward to retirement , not to relax or play golf, but because she
wanted more time to devote to writing and editing. She had found ways before , working as a creative writing teacher at Princeton Adult School and Mercer County Community College and taking part in a writing group.
But retiring allowed Ms. Fox
to take a much larger step. After 17 years working for the State of New Jersey, Ms. Fox retired and founded Red Hummingbird Press , a company dedicated to publishing works of social commentary from diverse backgrounds.
Founded by Ms. Fox
with her friend, Robin Cunningham, also a retiree, and her son, David Fox, the press particularly works to publish local authors.
