Prior to opening the agency, Gwen was director of communications for AIDS Project Los Angeles; associate director of public relations at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and director of public and media relations at California Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles.
A former member of the executive board of International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), she is past president of the Los Angeles chapter (IABC/LA).
She has served as vice president of the Board of Civil Service Commissioners for the City of Los Angeles and as communications advisory to the chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
She currently is chair of the board of directors for the American Lung Association of California.

A native Angeleno, Gwen is a graduate of California State University, Northridge.
