Guy Gast, president of the Waldinger Corporation, Des Moines, Iowa, was elected to the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association's (SMACNA) Board of Directors.

In addition, Gast also is chairman of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Iowa, associate council chairman of the Master Builders of Iowa and a life member of ASHRAE.
Gast graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
