NORTH ANDOVER, MASS (April 28, 2014) - School Year Abroad (SYA) has named Virginia Invernizzi as its new Resident Director for Spain effective July 1, 2014 replacing Griffin Morse, who has served since 2002 and leaves to take up the post of Principal at Pinkerton Academy, New Hampshire.
Speaking about the appointment, SYA President Dr. Jack Creeden said, "On behalf of the entire SYA community, I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Griffin Morse for his leadership, vision and belief in the value of an SYA education during the past 12 years.

He takes the Pinkerton job after serving for 12 years with School Year Abroad in Spain.
The school's parent organization is headquartered in Boston and operates schools in Italy, France and China.
He speaks three languages and is also a longtime teacher.
He has held significant leadership positions in education and business throughout the United States and abroad.
He grew up in Newfields and is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.
After living in Spain for so long, he
said it was great to come home again.
"I love New Hampshire," he
"It's so nice to be back."
Living on campus will give him an added benefit, he
said, as he
will be more centered on campus, be able to walk the grounds and be an active leader.
