Mt. Lebanon Dermatology, PC is pleased to welcome Dr. Gretchen Kreizenbeck!
Dr. Kreizenbeck is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Women's Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Kreizenbeck is from Deadwood, South Dakota and recently moved to Pittsburgh from Connecticut after establishing her work in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
While an undergraduate, she
spent a semester overseas researching the psychological effects of undergoing a lung transplant through the Notre Dame
London Undergraduate Program.
She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2003 and received both the Merck Index and Student Leadership awards from the University of Notre Dame.
While a medical student at the Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Kreizenbeck completed her thesis in the field of melanoma.
After accepting the Max Kade Clinical Clerkship she
studied in Salzburg, Austria and graduated in 2007 as a Yale Farr Scholar.
chose to remain in New Haven to complete her
internship at the Yale
Primary Care Program.
residency in dermatology with the Yale
Dermatology Residency Program in 2011 after completing a brief elective at the University of San Francisco
through an award received from the Women's Dermatologic Society
dermatologic specialties include adult and pediatric medical dermatology (including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, and skin cancer screening and treatment), surgical excisions; and cosmetic procedures including Botox, fillers, and laser therapy.
now lives in northern Upper St. Clair with her
husband, 2 young children, and 2 "dog-like" cats.
